RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advising the management and the entire ministry on the accounting matters according to the financial instructions and circulars on financial matters.
- Sourcing, control and disbursement of funds to meet the financial demands of the ministry.
- Ensuring that all revenue collected through E-payment are well receipted and accounted for as required by the Financial instructions.
- Rendition of monthly returns on revenue and used and unused receipts.
- Rendition of monthly statement of accounts
- Ensuring accuracy of all accounting records at all times.
- Processing for payment of staff salaries and other entitlements.
- Preparation of the ministry’s recurrent expenditure
- Any other assignment as may be directed by the Accountant General of Enugu State.
