The South East Educators Conference SEEC’24 which was held on the 18th & 19th, April 2024 at Nike Lake Resort, Enugu, was a two-day event themed: "Future-Focused Learning – Igniting the Competitive Edge" hosted key players in the education sector.
The event which is remarkably the first of its kind to be hosted in Enugu state was graced with a plethora of educational stakeholders who had the opportunity to engage in the two full days of conference sessions, diving deep into the future of Education.
The Honorable Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ndubueze Mbah, present amongst others, was recognized and awarded for his visionary dedication and performance in the education sector of the state. During his address, Prof. Mbah thanked the audience for the award and reaffirmed the commitment of the Enugu State Government under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, to revolutionize Enugu State’s education system. In order to solve the issues confronting the education sector and guarantee that everyone has access to high-quality education, Prof. Mbah emphasized that the Enugu State Government encourages the cooperation of both public and private sector stakeholders, including proprietors of private schools, educationists, legislators, civic societies, and responsible citizens.
In his commendation on behalf of the State Government, the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Prof. Mbah praised the organizers of the SEEC' 24 conference for their dedication and foresight in bringing together educators, policymakers, and stakeholders to drive positive change in the Southeast Regional Education Sector. He emphasized the significance of events like SEEC’24 in fostering collaboration and innovation for the betterment of education in the Southeast Region. He concluded that the conference represents a significant expression of "buy-in" from education leaders in the Southeast, into the disruptive innovation of His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, who has redefined education as the ultimate solution to sustainable development, poverty eradication, youth empowerment, and GDP growth.
