As the Enugu state government takes giant strides in the revolution of its educational sector through the total reform of its basic education system, it has drawn interests and resources to these auspicious projects; the first of its kind situated in Owo.

The Igwe of Mburubu kingdom, as a gesture of support to this educational revolution donated one set of uniforms worth 11.5million naira to the students of the new smart school at Owo. The uniform sets were for Nursey section, primary 1-6, and JS 1-3 respectively.
Igwe Chief Engr. Jerry Patrick, the Onuokaibe of Mburubu Kingdom, in his donation speech expressed his excitement and gratitude towards the incumbent administration and its strategic reformation of the educational sector of the state. He urged fellow stakeholders, private individuals and corporate entities to take the queue in supporting His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah as he embraces the transformative power of education, and puts it as the cornerstone of a thriving interconnected economy as evidenced in the 2024 budget of disruptive economic growth.
The Igwe solicited that the next smart green school be built in Mburubu, and promised to donate a block in view of this request.

The Hon. Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ndubueze Mbah while addressing the media, thanked the Governor for his unwavering commitment and support to the educational sector of the state and  the investment in the future of the children through the building of the first pilot school in Owo, and the 259 more, some of which have been contracted and are ongoing. He also showed appreciation to Igwe Chief Engr. Jerry Patrick for his support and participation; and showcased the new uniform, approved by the governor to the excited students, and teachers.
He pointed out that these children are the tomorrow, hence investing in them, is investing in our tomorrow.
