In line with the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Bar. Dr Peter Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, the educational landscape is undergoing a revolutionary transformation. His vision to propel the state's economy through quality education and the eradication of the Learning Crisis has set the stage for groundbreaking initiatives. 

Prof. Ndubueze Mbah, the Honorable Commissioner of Education Enugu State has shouldered the responsibility of bringing the vision to life, showcasing an unwavering commitment to the transformation of the educational sector in Enugu State. Prof. Ndubueze Mbah's strategic guidance and steadfast approach have been instrumental in the success of the Teacher Training Program, underscoring the crucial role of effective leadership in realizing ambitious educational goals.

At the forefront of this transformative journey is the ongoing Teacher Training Program focused on the integration of smart and green technologies in schools. This transformative Training held at the College of Immaculate Conception in Enugu was a testament to the commitment of the state government to usher in a new era of education.

The Training kicked off with an engaging session led by Mr Gbenga Olatunji from the Edves Team. The spotlight was on Computer-Based Testing (CBT), a key component within the Edves Basic portal. Teachers actively participated, leveraging their mobile phones to explore the functionalities of CBT. From exam creation to online question addition, The Edves Team guided educators through the seamless integration of technology into assessment methodologies.

In the virtual realm, Dr. Mara and Apryle ShneeBerger shared invaluable insights into experiential learning. This session went beyond theory, offering practical strategies for implementing experiential learning methodologies in classrooms. The emphasis was on enriching the teaching and learning experience through innovative approaches.

Mrs Nnenna Okore, The Director of Learning and Research at Edves took the reins in another practical session, focusing on the curriculum aspect of Edves Basic Portal. Teachers were introduced to the structure of the curriculum and actively engaged in loading content using cutting-edge AI pedagogy. Mrs Nnenna demonstrated the process of training Artificial Intelligence to generate customized content, showcasing the potential for personalized and impactful learning experiences. The significance of the PEARL worksheet and the incorporation of the experiential learning model in the Enugu State educational system were key highlights of this session.

The presence of the Honourable Commissioner for Education and other high-ranking officials from the Enugu State Government underscored the significance attached to this initiative. Their attendance demonstrated the government's unwavering commitment to the professional development of educators and the evolution of the educational system.

As Enugu State continues to lead the way in innovative education, this initiative just re-affirm the Government's commitment to laying the foundation for a brighter educational future in Enugu State.
